Current Election

Talk about the current election, argue over who will, etc.

So I will start: I think Obama has a chance, but his name and muslim characteriscts might hold him down.

Obama isn't a muslim. Obama will win. Period.
Order for president: Obama, McCain, Rommney, Clinton
If there is a terrosrist attack very soon, Mccain would have a better chance.
If the economy suddenly gets worse, Rommney would have a better chance.
Only way I see Clinton even winnign the nomination is if Obama pulls out for some resason or if he has somethign hidden in his past.

Thats a little racsist dont you think just cause hes part muslim doesnt mean it will hold him back. Anyway he isnt musilm his dad is black and his mom is muslim but is raised as an american and a christian.

I just don't know if many people will trust him.

ummm yah why do you think he is so far in the presidental election he is neck and neck with Hillary.

I'm not saying he is going to do this, but wouldnt't you regret it if he turned out to be behind this big plan to destroy us? If 9/11 never happened I would have nothing against him.

He probally is a good guy and will do no harm, but some people might not be ready for a president that has a muslim name, you know how people are these days, even if you are full american and have a pakistaian name no one will ever trust you.

His mom is muslim; therefore he is part muslim. Even so, people may not trust him because of his name. Like I said, he probally is a good guy and all.

His mother is an atheist. His fatehr was a muslim, but had turned away from religion before he met Obamas mother. Obamas stepfather thought religion was silly. Obama only lived in Indonesia for 4 years. Obama goes to a christian church. Why 9/11 is 'suspicious', it is very, very, very unliekly Obama (who wasn't veen a senator then) had any prior knowledge of it.

Interesting fact - Obama's middle name is Hussein. Barack Hussein Obama. True fact.

Well, that would mean I would have to hate myself. Ok, they are good people. Al Quada ones are the bad people. It is just that Obama's name may not help him in the long run is all i'm saying. He is most likely a good guy.

Is it wrong for Mike Huckabee to want to teach creationisn/intelligent design in US schools? Yes, but it doesn't make him bad.

Is Clinton just a puppet for her husband? Probbaly not. Is Clinton vil for workigng for walmart? No, it was just a job.

Clinton won 8 states. Obama won 11. However Clinton's
staes are bigger and have mroe delegates. SoO clinton is nowt ahead in the
delegates count slightly. California (the most delegate rich state) is still
undecided.

On the republican
side. McCain won 7. Huckabee 5 (I thogught he had dropped out a while back? -
don't hear from him much anymore). Rommney 1. Now very likely McCain will get
the nomination.



I still think Obama will win.

Clintion won California.

However if the Democrat delegates system was liek that of the Republicans, Clinton woudl have surged ahead, probbaly to victory. On the Republican side, whoever wins the most votes in each state gets all delegates from that state. With the democrats, delegates are given out proportionally. I.e if Clinton won 55% of California, she gets 55% of the delegates. If Obama then get 45%, he gets 45% of California's delagtes. So even though Clinton won soem bigger states that Obama, he was not far behind in most of these + combiend with the others he won has meant that Obama is now sightly ahead in the delegates count.

The real competition really was Clinton and Obama. Even from the start.

Obama won all 3 states for the Democrats on saturday, 2 of them by a
landslide. Clinton 0. On republican side Huckabee won 2/3 states,
although he is questioning Washinton believing he may have bet McCain

No offense but I think if Republicans are going to be president I believe that the economy will drop. I believe it is time for a Democrat.
